Job Description:
The Computer Systems Analyst will gather and analyze requirements, architect, design, develop, program, and complete the tasks and deliverables for our client.
Position objective: - Extend existing Multiverse microservices to support the NATS messaging. Extend the existing Multiverse microservices by introducing NATS based event-driven communication layer to improve scalability, decoupling, and real time responsiveness across the management plane.
- Transition the current Multiverse Quantum Network Simulator from Python to Java to obtain performance improvement metrics using the new JAVA features such as Virtual Threads, Structured Concurrency and Method Timing and Tracing. This java version of the simulator shall be integrated in Multiverse Management to handle the quantum layer.

Job requirements/duties:- Design and prototype NATS based monitoring and logging interface
- Upgrade microservices, Topology, Configuration, Fault, Security, and Connection
- Add a NATS northbound API to connect to the Multiverse Graphical User Interface
- Add a NATS northbound API to the NETCONF southboud API microserve
- Deploy and test the Multiverse Quantum Network Simulator from python to Java
- Provide demonstrations of simulator performance
- Provide results of performances benchmarks for the Python simulator
- Develop progress reports

Education:
- MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in developing real-time management and monitoring systems, with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in network measurements, network management, standard network protocols (e.g. - IPv4 and IPv6)
- At least two years of research of development experience in at least one emerging networking paradigm such as quantum networks, AI-based networks, and Software Defined Networking.
- At least one year experience in applying and developing machine learning algorithms (including federated learning algorithms) and using machine learning for network traffic analysis.
- At least two years of independent design, implementation, and testing of all aspects of a network system.
