Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Computer Programmer IV to design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex software applications and systems supporting mission-critical operations. This role requires advanced programming expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to implement effective software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and document complex software applications and systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend efficient programming solutions.
- Investigate system enhancements, application redesigns, and modernization opportunities.
- Create and maintain program specifications, workflows, and technical documentation.
- Develop and manage complex data structures, file relationships, and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced software and system issues.
- Collaborate with users, analysts, and technical teams to support project objectives.
- Support software testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
- Prepare operating procedures and technical documentation for developed applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior programmers and technical staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Strong experience in software development, programming, and system support.
- Experience analyzing requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting government, defense, engineering, logistics, or enterprise technology environments.
- Familiarity with software modernization, system integration, and database technologies.
- Experience leading technical efforts or mentoring development teams.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices.
