Compensation Range: Between $75,000 - $115,000 CDN annually

About your next Challenge as a Component Integration Engineering Specialist:

What will you do:
  • Select mechanical and electronic components used for the control of naval platforms
  • Coordinate with suppliers in the development of equipment suitable for naval environments
  • Coordinate with software and hardware teams to define equipment requirements
  • Stay at the forefront in advances in technology in the marine control industry
  • Prepare test procedures and reports for equipment environmental qualification testing
  • Review customer specifications to develop traceable system requirements
  • Review environmental requirements on naval programs
  • Support to obsolescence management for in-service programs


Required Skills and Experiences:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in naval or aerospace engineering
  • Experience with military or industrial environmental qualification standards or specifications (e.g. MIL-STD-901, MIL-STD-187A)
  • Experience with computer integration and testing
  • Familiarity with computer design
  • Familiarity with ship classification society standards (e.g. Lloyds Register, DNV) is an asset
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.


Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada "Reliability" status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
