Compliance and Risk Management SpecialistWaikiki Health is seeking a full-time Compliance and Risk Management Specialist.
Pay rate for this role is $78,000 - $92,500 annually, depending on your experience, education, and healthcare compliance certifications.
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours weekly), Monday - Friday

Summary of position: The compliance and risk management specialist develops and maintains systems within the organization to detect, monitor, prevent, organize, measure, investigate, report, and manage patient adverse events, malpractice claims, incident reports, and other indicators of risk to patients, clients, or employees. This position maintains up to date organization policies and employee training.
Qualifications and abilities- Education: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, OR Master's degree with 1 year of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience with e-learning platforms (desired).
- Certification in HealthCare Compliance (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Office (preferred).
- Experience with MedTrainer or other compliance-based software (preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro (preferred).
- Experience using DocuSign (preferred).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (preferred).
- Ability to perform essential duties under direct supervision.
General Duties include but are not limited to- Policy Management: Maintain, review, and update the Waikiki Health policy and procedures manual annually to ensure strict organizational alignment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Act as HIPAA Privacy Officer, monitoring regulatory changes, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with HRSA, FTCA, OSHA, and CMS and other regulatory bodies.
- Risk Assessment: Facilitates clinical quarterly risk assessments, generates annual, quarterly and monthly reports, presents findings to the Board and Leadership team.
- Staff Training: Researches, administers and assures thorough compliance documentation annual organization-wide training programs covering HIPAA, clinical risk management, workplace violence, safety, and related mandates.
- Program Administration: Manage daily incident reports, coordinates claims management; Manages Waikiki Health safety program to ensure that all locations are compliant with State and Federal safety regulations; ensures that proper paperwork and documentation is on file for inspection purposes
