Must live within 100 miles of Rochester campus or willing to relocate.

This position requires to be on campus 4 days a weeks.

The Transplant or IEC Program Manager is responsible for oversight of regulatory compliance for clinical and/or research activities for Blood and Marrow, Heart, Lung, Liver, Kidney, Pancreas and Vascularized Composite Allograft Transplant or IEC Programs.. The Program Manager directs the work to identify and reduce regulatory, accreditation, and compliance risk by continuous monitoring of new or revised regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as evaluating current transplant or IEC program policies and practices to ensure compliance is built into the systems. Oversees transplant or IEC regulatory and compliance support by making interpretations and developing executive summaries of regulatory/compliance information, leading regulatory survey activities, communicating with external regulatory, accreditation agencies. The Program Manager reports and works effectively with leadership to identify actions necessary to mitigate identified risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field and five years of experience in healthcare, which must have included activities in compliance or legal.An advanced degree in a related field is preferred. A working knowledge of Mayo governance is preferred. Demonstrated interpersonal skills for problem solving. Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with counterparts throughout the institution. Ability to participate in development and implementation of effective processes essential.

Must have considerable understanding of the practices and processes of all aspects of transplantation or IEC and broad knowledge of the business, services offered, and applicable technology. Must be experienced in conducting audits. Remains abreast of current, new, and developing industry trends, regulations, and legal positions related to operations, patient care, and information management. Possesses strong human relations skills and problem solving skills in order to influence all levels of the organization toward regulatory and accreditation compliance. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Works independently with minimal direction and is self-motivated.
