Responsibilities

Full Job Description
GEICO is seeking a Compliance Analyst II. Under minimal supervision, ensures GEICO processes, procedures, systems, and correspondence are in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provides legal and regulatory research and support for GEICO. Recommends changes to ensure compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and evaluates revised, pending, or new Legal and Regulatory notices. Determines applicability to GEICO. Recommends changes to ensure compliance.
  • Notifies and coordinates with appropriate staff when a state declares a moratorium.
  • Evaluates processes, procedures, systems, and correspondence. Documents findings. Recommends new processes or procedures to eliminate non-compliance.
  • Presents findings and recommendations in writing and communicates with all levels of leadership.
  • Coordinates implementation and monitors changes to processes, procedures, systems, or correspondence and re-evaluates to ensure non-compliance has been eliminated or mitigated.
  • Responds to questions regarding the potential compliance of a proposed procedure.
  • Researches state laws, rules and regulations to find applicable compliance issues, communicates issues with GEICO's Legal partners and handles questions on procedures regarding findings and applicable Regulatory Alerts.
  • Meets attendance standard at business location, to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.

Primary Education and Experience:
  • Compliance background, with operational experience preferred.
  • Underwriting process experience is a plus.


Annual Salary
$64,575.00 - $115,825.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
