Job Title:

Competitive Intelligence Manager

Role Overview:

As a Competitive Intelligence (CI) Manager, you are the eyes and ears of the organization. Your goal is to transform a sea of market noise into actionable signals that drive our strategic decisions. You won't just report on what the competition did yesterday; you will predict what they'll do tomorrow. You'll be the bridge between market data and executive action, ensuring our sales, product, and leadership teams are never caught off guard.

About the role
  • Market Monitoring & Synthesis: Help take our AI-driven CI platform to the next level establishing persona-based insights so each stakeholder group can track competitor moves, messaging shifts, and changes in pricing strategy.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct deep-dive SWOT analyses, win/loss interviews, and capabilities analyst to identify market gaps and emerging threats.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop high-impact competitive enablement and provide key perspective for product "how to sell" guides including key "Just say this" points to increase our win rates in the field.
  • Product Liaison: Partner with Product Management to influence roadmaps based on competitive feature parity and whitespace opportunities.
  • Infrastructure: Help optimize our Crayon to ensure sales has what they need, when they need it most.

About you
  • You possess deep domain expertise in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, or Product Marketing
  • You are fueled by curiosity. You enjoy the detective work involved in uncovering non-obvious insights from secondary research and primary interviews.
  • You excel at technical sales enablement, with proven experience developing and delivering effective training and technical sales tools.
  • You are a self-motivated storyteller. You can take a complex spreadsheet of competitor pricing and turn it into a compelling three-slide deck that changes our go-to-market strategy.
  • You are highly collaborative, low-ego, and easy to work with, recognizing that the biggest wins come from partnership and cross-functional alignment. "One Team" is more than a promise-it is the core of how we work together.
  • Cybersecurity is your professional purpose-you are driven by the impact your work has on keeping your community safe.
