Scale is looking for a Compensation Manager to join our Total Rewards team. In this role, you'll help build and evolve our global compensation programs by providing analysis, insights, and modeling. We're seeking someone analytical, fast-paced, and excited about solving hard problems that impact our biggest investment - our people. You'll play a key role in designing and scaling our compensation processes as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quantitative analyses to assist Leadership with key projects
- Conduct market benchmarking to determine pay targets and support business growth
- Contribute to the research, design, and delivery of compensation programs
- Support international expansion and M&A initiatives
- Collaborate with the Recruiting team on offer escalations and process optimization
- Develop and maintain tools to enhance efficiency of programs
- Build and integrate AI into Comp workflows
- Drive clarity, transparency, and understanding of compensation at Scale
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience on Compensation teams
- Experience with compensation programs, benchmarking, and market pricing. Experience with Radford and Pave is a plus.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and draw actionable insights
- Comfort working in a ultra fast paced environment
- Eagerness to build, learn, and grow
Nice to haves:
- Understanding of international compensation practices and regulatory environments
- Experience with pre-IPO equity programs
- Familiarity with AI tools (if not, we will teach you!)
Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. The base salary range for this full-time position in the location of San Francisco is:
$172,800-$216,000 USD
