Full Job Description
About the Role

This is a high-impact, pipeline-oriented Community Lead role at a seed-stage AI infrastructure company building graph-native memory and context infrastructure for AI agents. The company has raised a seed round from prominent investors in the AI research and venture community and is growing its go-to-market motion.

This role sits at the intersection of relationship-building and revenue - it is not a brand awareness role. Your north star metric is warm ICP relationships converted to first qualified meetings. You will own conference and meetup presence, organize events in San Francisco and other key AI markets, and develop community programming that positions the company as the default graph infrastructure layer for AI builders. You will work directly with the CEO and GTM team.
What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain high-trust relationships with the ICP: Directors of Engineering and Heads of AI at seed-to-Series D AI companies
  • Organize and host technical events and meetups in San Francisco and other key AI markets
  • Represent the company at conferences and AI community events
  • Convert warm relationships into qualified first meetings for the sales team
  • Develop community programming that makes the company the name engineers associate with graph infrastructure for AI
  • Collaborate with the CEO and GTM team on outreach strategy
What We're Looking For

Required:
  • Based in San Francisco, CA (or willing to relocate within an acceptable timeframe)
  • Natural connector - you remember people, follow up proactively, and bring genuine energy to every room
  • Proven track record of building communities or networks with measurable business outcomes (not just follower counts)
  • Experience organizing and hosting technical events, conferences, or meetups end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability to convert warm relationships into qualified pipeline and contribute to GTM strategy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with senior technical leaders (Directors of Engineering, Heads of AI)
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building a function from scratch
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and events

Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience in developer relations, community, or field marketing at a technical company
  • Existing relationships in the AI/ML engineering community
  • Familiarity with basic technical concepts in AI infrastructure (coding not required)

Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $94,000 - $180,000 USD annually
  • Meaningful equity - the company wants builders to own a real piece of what they create
  • Flexible PTO
  • Learning budget (books, courses, conferences, compute)
  • Wellness programs and top-tier gear & software
  • Periodic team offsites
Location

This is an on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. Travel to conferences and events in other key markets is expected.
