Full Job Description

About the team:

The DHI Human Resources team strives to continuously evolve the DHI people foundation - building the talent engine, developing leaders who own outcomes, and cultivating a high-performance culture that drives DHI's growth. You will join us in our hybrid office culture working within our Denver office Tuesday - Thursday.

About the role:

You will partner directly with the Chief People Officer, the executive leadership team, and people leaders across Dice, ClearanceJobs, and corporate functions to make sure the DHI story is told clearly, consistently, and with conviction. If you love translating strategy into messages that move people - and you want measurable impact at a public company small enough that your work is visible to the CEO - this is your role.

Why we're hiring for this role:

DHI is hiring a Communications Manager to be the storyteller- internally to our employees and externally to candidates, the talent market, and the broader community. This is a newly scoped role, created as part of the People team's 2026 strategy, and it sits at the intersection of internal communications, employer brand, and HR program enablement.

In this role, you will:

We are looking for a communicator who can prioritize and sequence work for the highest business impact. Core responsibilities include:
  • Build and own DHI's internal communications strategy, calendar, and channel mix - making sure employees hear the right message at the right time, in the right voice.
  • Partner with the CEO, CPO, and SLT on company-wide communications including all-hands meetings, leadership messages, business updates, and quarterly earnings-related employee communications.
  • Serve as the embedded communications partner for major HR initiatives - performance management, engagement survey, leadership framework launches, total rewards, and benefits enrollment - turning program plans into employee-ready narratives.
  • Develop manager toolkits, FAQs, talking points, and rollout plans so people leaders can cascade messages with confidence.
  • Define and steward DHI's employer brand - the value proposition we offer talent - in partnership with the Dice and ClearanceJobs Marketing teams, DHI Talent Acquisition and the executive team.
  • Build DHI's external employer brand presence -an employer awards strategy (Best Places to Work, Top Workplaces, industry-specific recognition), and culture-related media moments.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Investor Relations and Legal to ensure messaging is aligned, accurate, and compliant for a public company.
  • Coach leaders on communication - helping them show up authentically and on-message in town halls, written updates, and team conversations.

What you bring to the team:
  • 5+ years of progressive communications experience, with a meaningful portion in internal communications, employee communications, or employer brand.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field - or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional writing chops: you can move fluidly from a CEO all-hands script to a benefits FAQ to a punchy LinkedIn post without losing voice or precision.
  • Demonstrated experience building communications programs from the ground up - not just executing a calendar handed to you.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and audiences in a small, fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort operating in a public company context, with awareness of disclosure considerations and the need for message discipline.
  • A collaborative, low-ego style - you partner generously and bring solutions with every problem.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting HR, People, or Talent functions on program communications and change management.
  • Familiarity with employer brand platforms (LinkedIn Life, Glassdoor, Comparably) and award submission processes.
  • Background in HR tech, recruiting tech, SaaS, or other talent-adjacent industries.
  • Experience with intranet platforms, AI-assisted content tools, and basic analytics for measuring communication impact.

Denver pay range: Base salary/pay per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

$100,000-$140,000 USD

Benefits

Healthy living - medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, disability, life, wellness & fitness programs
