Position Title: Commodity Manager, 3rd Party Manufacturing & Buyouts
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (Hybrid)
The Commodity Manager for 3rd party manufacturing and Buyouts is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure supply continuity, quality performance across externally manufactured and buyouts product portfolios and cost competitiveness. This role leads Supplier selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management for 3rd party manufacturing partners and buyouts suppliers, aligning procurement objectives with business growth, innovation and resiliency priorities.
The role reports to the Head of Contract Manufacturing and Brand Label and acts as a trusted advisor shaping strategic priorities and driving the execution of high-impact, cross functional initiatives and special projects.
You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:Contribution to Net Income:
- Negotiate Master Procurement Agreements, including pricing, terms & conditions, payment terms in alignment with SI North America, Purchasing Council, and Location Procurement.
- Lead cross functional teams including regional commodity team and have oversight of all CNI (PPC- Price Performance Controlling) and MCP - Material Cost Productivity) projects. Drive/Monitor project progress and cost savings implementation.
- Utilize Supply Market Intelligence, Siemens Spend Pooling, and all commercial levers and technical levers to drive productivity
Commodity Strategy:
- Develop and execute Commodity Strategy Roadmap.
- Drive Cost competitiveness and Value creation by implementing should-cost modeling and benchmarking, leading strategic negotiations and long-term agreements and optimizing total cost of ownership.
- Ensure Supply resiliency and supplier portfolio optimization by designing and executing dual sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
Suppliers & internal teams Relationship Management: - Manage relationship with all assigned suppliers. Relationships include negotiating pricing, monitoring performance to agreed terms and conditions
- Collaborate with global commodity management and/or Product Management while optimizing company-wide buying power by reviewing the financial, quality, pricing, service, and availability level of suppliers.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain
- 5 plus years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, product management or operations.
- Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Negotiations, Cost modeling and Financial Analysis, Supply Chain and Manufacturing knowledge, ERP systems and data analytics.
- 15-20 % to North American Operational sites and Supplier's Facilities in mainly North America.
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:- An engineering degree is not mandatory, but advantageous
- Having a Growth mindset, embrace challenges and show persistence in overcoming obstacles
- Strong problem-solving skills, extreme ownership, high level of self-motivation and personal efficiency.
- Ability to use Microsoft copilot AI tools for excel file analysis and editing, any repetitive tasks etc.
- Collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional meetings with various departments such as Product Development, Finance and Operations to align on objective, timelines and deliverables.

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
