Commercial Sourcing & Operations Manager

The Commercial Sourcing & Operations Manager will lead end-to-end supplier management and procurement strategy across direct and indirect spend, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and continuity of supply.

This individual serves as a critical cross-functional partner aligning Commercial, Supply, Finance, Quality, and External Manufacturing to deliver business objectives.

What Are We Looking For?

Minimum:
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles within CPG, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management
  • Experience managing supplier performance across cost, quality, service, and risk
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in cost analysis and total cost of ownership, with exposure to co-manufacturing and/or packaging sourcing


What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to drive competitive advantage and ensure performance excellence
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers through proactive market research and industry networking
  • Manage supply chain resiliency by assessing risks, developing contingency plans, and ensuring continuity of critical components
  • Oversee external manufacturing and co-packing operations, ensuring alignment on quality, capacity, and delivery commitments
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives to reduce expenses while enhancing quality and overall value
  • Collaborate on designing and implementing sustainable, resilient supply chain models balancing service, cost, and inventory
  • Provide standardized reporting on supplier performance, risks, and operational metrics, ensuring transparency and timely issue resolution
  • Support compliance with Mars MQM, PQM, and EMQM standards where applicable including supplier audit

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 79,280.00 - USD 109,010.00
