Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Service rooftop units, walk-in coolers, and refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagrams and specifications
  • Recover, recycle, and recharge refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
  • Repair and replace HVAC components like compressors and valves
  • Read blueprints, piping diagrams, and equipment schematics
  • Complete service documentation accurately and communicate with customers
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment

Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: North Andover, MA
Company: New England Total Energy (NETR)
Pay: $115,000-$125,000 per year
What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Service rooftop units (RTUs), walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, display cases, and refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using wiring diagrams, multimeters, and manufacturer specifications
  • Recover, recycle, and recharge refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
  • Repair and replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves (TXVs), EPR valves, and related components
  • Read blueprints, piping diagrams, and equipment schematics
  • Complete service documentation accurately and communicate findings with customers
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
What We're Looking For
  • 5-7 years of commercial HVAC/R service experience or a 2-year HVAC/R technical degree with relevant field experience
