Who we needReporting to the Manager, FP&A, we are looking for a Commercial FP&A Analyst to join our team. You will support commercialization initiatives through financial modeling, pricing, costing, and profitability analysis, providing forward-looking insights to evaluate business opportunities and support strategic growth. You will partner with the business to provide in-depth analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and offer actionable insights to support decision-making, continuously improving financial models and driving process enhancements.
This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days a week on-site in our Brampton head office.

How you will make an impact: - Commercialization & Business Growth. You will support the financial evaluation of new business opportunities, customer quotations, and commercialization projects. By developing pricing models, cost builds, and profitability analyses, you will help the business make informed decisions that support sustainable growth.
- Profitability & Margin Optimization. You will analyze customer, product, and channel profitability to identify risks, opportunities, and margin improvement initiatives. Your insights will support pricing renewals, gross margin optimization efforts, and strategic business decisions.
- Financial Analysis & Decision Support. You will perform in-depth financial and operational analysis to identify key business drivers, emerging trends, and opportunities for improvement. Through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and business case development, you will provide meaningful insights that support decision-making across the organization.
- Costing & Continuous Improvement. You will review and validate costing information to ensure financial assumptions are accurate and reliable. You will also support productivity, cost savings, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance and profitability.
- Business Partnership & Insights. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Commercialization, and Finance teams, you will develop tools, models, and reporting solutions that improve visibility and help transform data into actionable business insights.
What you bring:- The experience. You bring experience in FP&A, commercial finance, costing, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis. Ideally, your experience has been gained within manufacturing, food production, ingredients, or consumer packaged goods environments. You have experience analyzing business performance, supporting profitability initiatives, and translating financial results into meaningful business insights.
- The knowledge. You possess a strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and costing methodologies. You understand the drivers behind financial performance, and develop recommendations that support business growth and profitability. CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA is considered an asset..
- The technical skills. You have advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting. You have experience using Power BI and other business intelligence tools to develop dashboards and reporting solutions. Experience working with ERP systems and large datasets is highly valued.
- The interpersonal skills. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can present complex financial information in a clear and meaningful way. You build strong relationships across functions and influence decision-making through collaboration, curiosity, and credibility. You are comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to leadership teams and have a deep appreciation for diverse experiences and perspectives.
The expected base pay range for this role is $80,000-$88,000.
Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits in accordance with company policy.
