About the Role

The Legal team at ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to help drive contracting excellence, operational rigor, and cross-functional coordination across a fast-paced business supporting some of the world's most sophisticated technology customers.

This role serves as a critical partner to Legal, Finance, Accounting, Business Planning, Sales, Operations, and executive leadership. The successful candidate will bring structure, discipline, and visibility to commercial processes while helping ensure contractual commitments, approvals, and key business obligations are effectively managed and tracked.

The ideal candidate enjoys building processes, solving operational challenges, improving efficiency, and serving as a trusted resource across multiple business functions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and continuously improve commercial contracting workflows and documentation processes.
  • Coordinate approvals, contract routing, execution, storage, and recordkeeping activities.
  • Track contractual obligations, commitments, dependencies, action items, and key milestones.
  • Support customer audits, internal reviews, and compliance-related activities.
  • Develop reporting, metrics, dashboards, and management summaries.
  • Prepare negotiation status reports, approval packages, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Support contract intake, NDA management, and related legal operations activities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Business Planning, and Operations to drive process discipline and visibility.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve contracting and documentation practices.
  • Help evaluate and leverage legal technology, workflow tools, AI-enabled productivity solutions, and contract lifecycle management platforms.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or relevant discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, commercial operations, deal desk, sales operations, procurement operations, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting processes and approval workflows.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and follow-through skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with document-management tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting technology, manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, hardware, telecommunications, or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
  • Experience with legal operations tools, workflow automation, reporting platforms, or process-improvement initiatives.
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools in a business or legal environment.
  • Experience operating in a public-company control environment.

ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $118,000 and $140,000 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
