Title of position: Fund Finance

Position type: Full-time

Pay range: $75,000 to $90,000

Location: San Jose, California

The Role

The Analyst is responsible for supporting a portfolio of clients that consists of institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrites and coordinates the closing of Fund Finance credit products in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures.
  • Reviews information, evaluates risk, and engages with clients, building relationships with appropriate stakeholders. Communicates internally to recommend and execute on responses to changing situations for clients / across the portfolio broadly. Ensures that portfolio management practices meet Avidbank standards.
  • Analyzes market conditions to ensure proper underwriting standards and portfolio management is being maintained.
  • Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Gathers and analyzes all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
  • Solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within the portfolio; prepares loan disbursements in accordance with agreements.
  • Reviews quarterly financial reporting, borrowing bases, and compliance certificates to assess compliance with credit agreements.

Experience Required:

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree along with at least 2 years of experience.
