Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with retail media, shopper marketing programs from a retail or brand side.
  • Experience leading teams who design enterprise ad tech solutions, with technical expertise and ability to promote the solutions internally and externally.
  • Experience launching an early stage product, identifying business blocking gaps, and aligning resources to resolve.
  • Ability to cultivate C-level executive relationships to gain buy-in, and accelerate joint commerce plans.
  • Ability to lead change management and transfer of ownership.

The GMP Commerce team partners with Commerce Media Networks to monetize their audience and measurement assets. Our mission is to unlock new business growth with Shopping budgets. We drive business, onboarding, and commercialization using Google's Commerce Media Suite. You are at the forefront of driving platform adoption and delivering long-term impact for clients and Google. Commerce Media is a massive opportunity, and we need someone with a unique skill set who can seamlessly navigate both the technical and sales sides of the business to unlock this space for Retailers and Brands. Success in the role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, deep understanding of the Commerce ecosystem and how dollars move, executive selling, and effective cross-fun partnerships. You are responsible for figuring out what is standing in the way of dollars, unblocking, and organizing the teams to pronote at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with teams in LCS to own the business cycle from pitching to brand business driving Retailer adoption of Google's Commerce Media product solutions for both Audiences and Measurement. Partner with cross-functional teams to activate and scale these solutions.
  • Accelerate business growth by collaborating across Google's sales ecosystem to advocate, educate, and co-pitch our Commerce offerings to Brand customers.
  • Ensure processes, clear roles, and effective metrics are in place to meet organizational goals. Make prioritization decisions, equitably allocate work, and manage resources to maximize business impact.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgment and adaptability by removing obstacles and communicating clear pivots during times of change.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and thoughtful risk-taking to deliver continued business impact for Google.
