Position Summary

Eleven is seeking a qualified Fleet Manager to oversee the overall maintenance of the vast fleet of various vehicles and equipment in Colorado. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing routine services on company equipment. The mechanic will work closely with operations to ensure the proper and safe operation of all related equipment. This position requires a minimum of 5 years mechanical experience, high school diploma or GED equivalent and a clean MVR. The ideal candidate will have an industry related degree or vocational/trade school certificate. This is a full time year round, benefitted, salaried position that will pay between $80k - $100k per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Position Purpose

Manage the Colorado based Transportation department by overseeing all maintenance and repairs carried out on company equipment.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
  • Manage a team of vehicle mechanics and the day to day vehicle maintenance operations.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various transportation equipment related issues.
  • Perform routine/scheduled preventive maintenance on all fleet equipment.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records using our department service and repair logs.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all backup generators at Irwin.
  • Assist with monitoring and operating remote PV systems used at Irwin facilities.
  • General property maintenance and housekeeping around departmental areas of operation.
  • Monitor and operate our UST facility in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Keep a safe, organized, and tidy workspace compliant with OSHA regulations.
  • Audit and improve operational logistics as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with all Colorado based business units and their management teams.
  • Periodic quality control site visits to local operations to make certain standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with different vendors, manufacturers and contractors.
  • Respond to emergencies from both operational and administrative standpoints when necessary.
  • Assist with annual budget construction and tracking.
  • Assist with transportation department training schedules and curriculums.
  • Annual SOP auditing with the various managers associated with specific operations.
  • Manage inventories for both Riverland and Irwin maintenance facilities.
  • Create weekly transportation updates for all relevant properties.
  • Use Company apps in accordance with administrative SOP's.
  • Ensure all vehicle registrations are up to date.
  • Utilize current purchasing request forms to keep current financial tracking.
  • Assist in managing expense reports for all Transportation Department credit cards.
  • Transportation related research and/or recon for expanding operations or new developments.
  • Assist Development team with various tasks.
  • Occasionally provide support to global entities when necessary.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5+ years ski industry experience required
  • 3+ years of management / supervisor experience
  • Skilled and familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong CQ and EQ skills required for team building
  • Valid driver's license, Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) - Driving required
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to be trained.
