We are currently seeking a Collibra Platform Engineer to join our team in Washington (REMOTE), District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Collibra Platform Engineer to support the administration, configuration, integration, and ongoing operation of an enterprise data governance platform. This role will maintain Collibra across multiple environments, support metadata harvesting and data lineage, configure operating models and workflows, and maintain the software components and integrations that support platform reliability.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Collibra experience with strong software engineering and systems administration skills and works effectively with data governance, application development, and infrastructure teams.

Job Duties:
  • Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Collibra across multiple environments.
  • Implement and modify Collibra operating models to support organizational data governance requirements.
  • Maintain and support workflows developed using Collibra Workflow Designer and Collibra Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
  • Configure and support Collibra Edge capabilities, including metadata harvesting and data lineage.
  • Maintain and support Collibra Jobserver and associated metadata harvesting processes.
  • Develop, maintain, or support Java Development Kit (JDK)-based microservices and REST API integrations.
  • Implement and maintain logging and exception handling, troubleshoot integration issues, and perform integration testing.
  • Maintain supporting software components on Linux and Windows servers.
  • Manage certificates, secrets, service account credentials, and related integration dependencies.
  • Maintain source code in version control platforms and track Agile work through epics, stories, and tasks.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to resolve issues and document platform configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience performing software engineering and systems administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Collibra.
  • 'Collibra Solution Architect' certification or 'Collibra Ranger' certification.
  • Ability to pass a government agency background check.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to maintain clear documentation and manage competing operational priorities.
  • Experience administering and configuring Collibra in multi-environment implementations.

  • Experience with Collibra Jobserver, including metadata harvesting.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting JDK-based microservices.
  • Experience with REST APIs, coding, logging, exception handling, and integration testing.
  • Experience maintaining software components on both Linux and Windows servers.
  • Experience managing certificates, secrets, service account credentials, and related integration dependencies.
  • Experience using source code management platforms and Agile work tracking tools to manage epics, stories, and tasks.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $105,840 - $245,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
