Job Summary

We are seeking a Collibra Developer / Data Governance Engineer to support enterprise data governance initiatives by implementing, configuring, and enhancing the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. This role is responsible for developing metadata management solutions, implementing data governance frameworks, automating workflows, and integrating Collibra with modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Collibra, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, governance workflows, cloud technologies, and enterprise data governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure, customize, administer, and maintain the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
• Develop and maintain business glossaries, data catalogs, metadata models, governance assets, and stewardship frameworks.
• Design, develop, and implement Collibra workflows using BPMN and workflow automation capabilities.
• Configure governance operating models, including domains, communities, roles, responsibilities, and stewardship processes.
• Integrate Collibra with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Azure, AWS, and other metadata sources.
• Implement automated metadata ingestion, data lineage, metadata synchronization, and data quality integrations.
• Support enterprise data stewardship, issue management, policy management, and governance lifecycle processes.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations, automation scripts, and metadata management solutions.
• Support platform upgrades, user administration, security configuration, production support, and platform maintenance activities.
• Create governance dashboards, reports, operational metrics, and metadata health monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, architects, engineers, Risk, Compliance, Security, and Enterprise Data Office teams to implement enterprise data governance initiatives.
• Support AI, analytics, regulatory compliance, and enterprise data management initiatives by ensuring trusted and governed metadata.
• Implement end-to-end data lineage across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote enterprise data governance best practices.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Enterprise Data Management.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and administering the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
• Strong understanding of Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Stewardship, and Data Governance frameworks.
• Experience configuring Collibra workflows and governance operating models.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Collibra Data Quality (OwlDQ).
• Experience integrating Collibra with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Talend, or Apache Atlas.
• Experience programming with Python or Java.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or Healthcare industries.
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance initiatives, including BCBS 239, CCAR, SOX, GDPR, or CCPA.
• Experience establishing enterprise data ownership and stewardship models.
• Experience supporting AI, analytics, and enterprise data governance initiatives through trusted metadata management.
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide data quality monitoring, governance reporting, and metadata lifecycle management.
