Title:
Collection Manager - Junior

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a Junior Collections Manager to support the identification, documentation, and prioritization of intelligence requirements that enable mission planning and decision-making. In this role, you will help translate operational questions into clear intelligence needs and assist with validating requirements with stakeholders. You will coordinate with analysts, collection managers, and mission partners to track requirement status and support alignment with available collection and analytic capabilities. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to learn customer processes quickly, and comfort working with classified information. This role provides hands-on experience contributing to intelligence planning and requirements management in a mission-focused environment. This role is performed full-time on site at a government facility and is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in translating operational objectives and stakeholder questions into clearly documented intelligence requirements.
  • Support validation and prioritization of intelligence needs by coordinating inputs, constraints, and desired outputs with mission stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with collection managers and analysts to help align requirements with available capabilities and timelines.
  • Maintain and update requirements of trackers and databases, ensuring accuracy of status, sourcing, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Draft routine reports, briefings, and meeting notes that summarize requirements, priorities, gaps, and recommended next steps.
  • Assist with basic gap analysis by comparing current coverage against requirements and flagging shortfalls for senior review.
  • Participate in working groups and synchronization meetings to support requirements adjudication, deconfliction, and issue resolution.
  • Support after-action reviews by capturing requirement outcomes, documenting lessons learned, and updating reference materials/templates.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues in requirements workflows and proposing updates to trackers or job aids.
  • Follow established security and quality standards for handling, marking, and disseminating intelligence information and products


Required Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience: Master's degree and 1 year of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise, OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise, OR No degree, 4 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise.
  • Foundational understanding of intelligence requirements, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination (coursework or experience).
  • Ability to use common productivity and tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) to document requirements and maintain status updates.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience (internship, academic project, or prior role) supporting intelligence operations, requirements management, or mission planning.
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community or DoD mission environment and common requirements frameworks (e.g., PIRs, RFIs).
  • Exposure to intelligence databases, tasking/collection management tools, or ticketing/workflow systems (as applicable).


Basic Compensation:

$102,600 - $125,300

This range is for the Virginia area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
