Full Job Description
What We're Looking For:
We are hiring a Collaboration Product Owner, Senior Advisor to lead backlog ownership across two software engineering teams. You will translate product strategy into refined, sprint-ready backlogs for both teams and act as the primary point of accountability for delivery scope across them. Ideal candidate will be an experienced PO who has shown the ability to balance competing priorities across teams, operate on ambiguous cross-cutting work, propose creative alternatives when the default path won't work, and raise the refinement bar for the broader PO group.

This role is based in Lincolnshire, IL; 3 days on-site and 2 days remote (US).

  • Enabling collaboration technologies and processes from idea to operations.
  • Engaging stakeholders across multiple business units and understanding business needs.
  • Exercises independent judgement to prioritize the product backlog and maximize value delivered
  • Make frequent and dynamic prioritization decisions.
  • Providing vision and leadership for Agile team(s) working on the backlog.
  • Drive the definition of collaboration user personas by working style and identifying what capabilities are needed so the user can collaborate effectively
  • Developing the strategy for collaboration champions and communities of practice and implementing across the organization to drive adoption and knowledge sharing for varying business users and functions
  • Deploying collaboration solutions to meet the requirements and expectations of the business
  • Independently drive the continuous refresh of the Zebra collaboration strategy, roadmap and blueprint to envision the evolving needs of the business for delivering Enterprise Asset Intelligence
  • Measuring the effectiveness of the collaboration strategy through Key Performance Indicators and metrics and showcasing to senior leadership
  • Establishing relationships with key business and technology stakeholders at varying leadership levels across the organization. Soliciting stakeholder feedback.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or computer science required or demonstrated commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 12+ years of successfully delivering innovative and forward-thinking solutions
  • Experience in product management or as a product owner is REQUIRED


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Curious about AI
  • SAFE experience
  • Experience working with multiple business units
  • Advanced Degree is a plus.
  • At least 3 years' experience working with Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated experience in product management discipline and working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit, creative
    thinking, and servant leadership
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in at least one
    major collaboration tool provider, such as Microsoft, Zoom, Slack, Google
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Strong project management, planning, and
    organizational skills.
  • Substantial track record of delivering technology solutions to meet the strategic needs of business operations.
  • Technical experience with defining and delivering
    collaborations strategies, architectures and operating
    models.
  • Demonstrated capability in categorizing end user types
    and working styles and translating that into technical
    requirements for proven solutions.
  • Knowledge of leading and implementing change
    management and continuous learning programs with end user communities.
  • Experience with Product Management/Ownership;
    defining and maintaining product architecture blueprints
    and roadmaps.

Pay Range:
$122,800.00 - $184,200.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 12% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
