DescriptionMarkon is seeking a motivated CNO Developer to support the development of mission-critical cyber capabilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment for the Fort Meade Customer. This role focuses on building and maintaining software solutions that support advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO). The developer will work alongside experienced engineers to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to next-generation cyber solutions supporting national security missions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop hardware- and software-based CNO capabilities
- Assist with the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Apply knowledge of security concepts and network technologies in software development
- Ensure adherence to software engineering standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug software systems and applications
- Collaborate with team members to deliver mission-focused technical solutions
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph through this Customer
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or High School diploma with 4+ years of relevant technical experience
- Experience with Python and/or C/C++ programming
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging software systems
- Understanding of software development fundamentals
Preferred
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming
- Familiarity with low-level system internals (Windows, Linux, or similar platforms)
- Experience with software analysis or reverse engineering
- Exposure to CNO development concepts
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks and development best practices
- Familiarity with assembly programming concepts
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)
Salary RangeUSD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
