About the RoleWe are looking for a CMX Coordinator to join our Project and Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping manage the Contractor Management process here in Boron. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary contractor teams and internal/external subject-matter experts (SMEs).
In Boron, the CMX Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing contractor management activities, including coordination of onsite crane and elevator maintenance programs, support for major refinery projects, work scheduling for the CMX team, and mentoring Designated Managers to ensure effective contractor oversight and compliance.
This role is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual, preferably with a maintenance or construction background as well as planning and scheduling experience with SAP.
Reporting to the Contractor Management Superintendent, you will:
- Coordinate and support the Boron Contractor Management program, ensuring compliance with site standards, procedures, and Element 7 requirements.
- Partner with contractors, Designated Managers, and site stakeholders to promote safe, effective, and compliant contractor work execution.
- Facilitate contractor onboarding, scheduling, governance, and administrative processes throughout the contractor lifecycle.
- Mentor Designated Managers and provide guidance on contractor management best practices and requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance contractor performance, transparency, quality, and operational efficiency.

- 4-year college degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred 5+ years industrial maintenance background
- Must be proficient in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office products
- Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to safety, with strong leadership, supervisory, and people skills
- Must demonstrate a style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, integration, and continuous improvement
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively interface with stakeholders at all levels
- Valid driver's license required
