Full Job Description
Primary Purpose:Responsible for the administration and governance of the organization's Microsoft cloud tenant and hybrid-connected infrastructure. This role manages identity platforms, tenant configuration, security posture, hybrid connectivity, and governance across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure Arc environments. The position also provides cross-functional support for cloud, identity, and enterprise collaboration platforms.About the Role:The Cloud Platform Administrator provides enterprise-level administration of Microsoft cloud services, identity systems, and hybrid infrastructure integrations. This role focuses on tenant-wide configuration, identity and access governance, platform security, hybrid resource management, and operational support.

This individual serves as a technical escalation point for Azure, Microsoft 365, identity services, and Azure Arc-managed resources while working closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and application teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management
  • Administer users, groups, service accounts, and privileged identities in Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Configure and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, and authentication policies.
  • Support enterprise application integrations including SSO, federation, and app registrations.
  • Maintain identity lifecycle processes and directory hygiene.

Cloud Platform & Tenant Administration
  • Manage tenant-wide configuration for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and related SaaS services.
  • Administer Azure subscriptions, management groups, policies, and governance controls.
  • Oversee service enablement, platform capabilities, and enterprise integrations.

Hybrid & Azure Arc Infrastructure
  • Administer Azure Arc-enabled resources across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Manage onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle of Arc-managed servers and services.
  • Apply governance policies, monitoring, patching, and security baselines to hybrid resources.

Secrets & Certificate Management
  • Administer Azure Key Vault for secrets, certificates, and encryption keys.
  • Maintain lifecycle management for credentials and certificates used by applications and infrastructure.
  • Monitor expiration, coordinate renewals, and ensure secure access controls.

Security & Compliance
  • Maintain tenant-wide security posture across Azure, Microsoft 365, and identity services.
  • Configure logging, auditing, and alerting for cloud platforms.
  • Support incident response, security investigations, and compliance initiatives.

Microsoft 365 Collaboration Platforms
  • Administer Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business at the tenant level.
  • Manage platform policies, sharing configurations, and lifecycle governance.
  • Support migrations, storage management, and tenant-level troubleshooting.

Governance & Access Control
  • Design and maintain role-based access control and administrative delegation models.
  • Implement privileged access management and least-privilege access practices.
  • Prevent configuration drift and excessive privilege assignment.

Operational Support
  • Serve as escalation point for tenant-wide cloud and identity issues.
  • Monitor platform health and respond to service incidents.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Othr Duties as Assigned:
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Respond to alerts, incidents, and Microsoft service health events.
  • Prepare status reports and technical documentation.
  • Complete special projects and annual objectives as assigned.
