About the Opportunity: JYG is seeking a Cloud Linux Administrator to support the Air Force Program Executive Office for Business and Enterprise Systems (AFPEO BES) HI CATS effort. The administrator will build, secure, and sustain AWS-hosted Linux environments supporting mission-critical Air Force business systems, with emphasis on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), DISA STIG automation, RMF compliance, and Oracle platforms.
What You'll Do
  • Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS-hosted Linux environments.
  • Administer SLES systems, SUSE Repository Mirroring Tool (RMT) servers, software repositories, patching, and lifecycle activities.
  • Configure AWS networking and security services, including VPCs, security groups, load balancers, identity services, and monitoring.
  • Implement and automate DISA STIG requirements, RMF security controls, vulnerability scans, remediation, and security hardening.
  • Configure Linux directory partitions, authentication and authorization services, SSL/TLS certificates, and PKI integrations.
  • Support Oracle databases, Hyperion, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), middleware, and enterprise applications.
  • Monitor system health; troubleshoot server, application, database, and performance issues; and provide Tier II/III support.
  • Develop scripts and automation for administration, patching, compliance, and monitoring.
  • Maintain system documentation, technical procedures, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.

  • Experience implementing DISA STIGs, RMF controls, DoD cybersecurity requirements, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
  • Experience with Linux identity management, directory services, administrator and service accounts, SSL/TLS certificates, and PKI.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Oracle, Microsoft Windows Server, networking, web technologies, middleware, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Python, Bash, SQL, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience creating technical designs, system documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, SUSE Certified Engineer, RHCE, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting Air Force, DoD, or other federal cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting ATO packages, cybersecurity assessments, and continuous monitoring.
  • Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, ERP, or enterprise business system environments.
