Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and working knowledge of Microsoft Azure. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure to support business-critical applications and services.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives, including on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud transitions.
  • Build and support AI-enabled solutions using AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock for generative AI and QuickSight for analytics and visualization.
  • Monitor systems and applications, ensuring uptime and performance SLAs are met.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development and release processes.
  • Enforce security best practices, including IAM, network security, and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentorship to team members.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5-8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
    • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
    • Required experience with AWS AI/ML services, specifically:
      • Amazon Bedrock (LLMs, generative AI integrations, or prompt-based applications).
      • Amazon QuickSight (dashboards, data visualization, and business intelligence).
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep).
    • Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
    • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS).
    • Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls).
    • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, App Services, Networking, etc.).
    • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar).
    • Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
    • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO, NIST, etc.).
    • Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
    • Knowledge of cost management and optimization strategies.
