Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security SME to join our growing team. As a contributor to our growth team, you will be at the epicenter of emerging cloud computing technologies, helping to establish a foundation that will evolve to include multiple agencies. The individual in this role will help create security postures, specific to a cloud environment. This role involves working closely with system architects, administrators, and mission partners to identify security risks, implement mitigations, and enhance the overall security posture of a highly dynamic cloud environment.

Your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Advising Government stakeholders on multi-cloud, multi-agency collaborative activities that require navigating agency specific policy requirements
  • Assessing and identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities in cloud environments
  • Developing and implementing security controls and measures to mitigate risks
  • Research, evaluate and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking of cyber security solution offerings
  • Providing cloud strategy services that cover all security fabrics and are available to the Government to assist with the relocation of an organization's business applications, data, and workloads to ensure maximum effectiveness of the multi-cloud environment
  • Defining and documenting best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelors and 9 years or more experience; Masters and 7 years or more experience; PhD or JD and 4 years or more experience
    • Additional years of experience may substitute for education requirements
    • Cloud related (e.g., DevOps, Security, and/or ML)
  • 3+ years of experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
  • Developing and deploying cloud solutions to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Experience in building and deploying systems in the cloud using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks and infrastructure automation
  • Large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, and information systems implementation
  • Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team, as well as the CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, and Oracle)
