As a Cloud, Automation & AI Infrastructure Engineer, Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and modernizing cloud and AI-enabled technology platforms that support some of Canada's most significant digital transformation initiatives. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, security specialists, and business leaders, you will help organizations build secure, scalable, and intelligent technology ecosystems that power the future of work.

This role offers exposure to cloud transformation, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, platform engineering, cybersecurity, application modernization, data platforms, and emerging AI infrastructure technologies. You will have the opportunity to work across diverse client environments while developing solutions that deliver measurable business value.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure and platform solutions.
  • Translate business and technology requirements into solution designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Lead technical workstreams across cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, and AI infrastructure initiatives.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, reusable deployment patterns, and automated provisioning frameworks.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve deployment speed, quality, and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance across cloud services, networking, identity, security, compute, storage, containers, and application platforms.
  • Support the design of infrastructure for advanced analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and other AI-enabled workloads.
  • Identify opportunities to automate operational processes, monitoring, configuration management, testing, compliance, and deployment activities.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues across enterprise cloud environments.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and solution recommendations with client and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proofs-of-concept to determine their applicability to client environments.
  • Develop technical documentation, solution architecture materials, recommendations, and client presentations.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members while contributing to their technical development.
  • Take ownership of deliverables and technical initiatives from discovery and design through implementation, optimization, and operational transition.

You are someone who has:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Relevant professional experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, systems, software, data platform, or automation engineering, with experience taking ownership of complex technical deliverables.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or supporting solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, operating systems, virtualization, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience developing automation solutions using scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, or equivalent platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, source control systems, and modern software delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Quebec Locations: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of security and compliance principles within cloud environments.
  • Exposure to AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, machine learning platforms, GPU technologies, or modern data platforms.
  • Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar.


Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
