The
Cloud Architecture Lead is the senior authority responsible for defining, governing, and advancing the company's end-to-end cloud strategy across AWS and Azure. This role translates enterprise and domain strategies into secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architecture outcomes that deliver measurable in year savings, drive multiyear simplification, and establish a modern cloud foundation for all business domains.
The role emphasizes engineering discipline, platform reuse, cloud native adoption, and the reduction of ad hoc tools and nonstandard implementations.
In this role, you will: - Define and evolve the enterprise cloud architecture strategy across AWS and Azure.
- Translate business priorities into cloud target states, reference architectures, and modernization roadmaps.
- Ensure cloud solutions meet standards for scalability, resiliency, security, and cost optimization.
- Drive adoption of cloud native services, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and automation.
- Promote high quality, secure, maintainable engineering practices across teams.
- Identify consolidation, modernization, and retirement opportunities across cloud workloads.
- Partner with Finance, Infrastructure, and Domain Architects to quantify and deliver cloud savings.
- Reduce duplication of platforms, tooling, and custom solutions across cloud environments.
- Serve as the cloud architecture authority in governance forums, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and enterprise standards.
Who You Are: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years in cloud, platform, or enterprise architecture roles
- Deep expertise in AWS and Azure services, patterns, and operating models
- Proven experience driving cloud standardization, DevOps maturity, and cost optimization
- Strong executive communication and influence skills
