Overview

The Cloud Architect will support CAA and Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA). 

Responsibilities

· Responsible for engineering, building, testing, and deployment of cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.

· Develops architecture products, including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design.

· Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.

· Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.

· Provides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staff.

· Develops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.

· Develops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.

· Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases concerning processing, data storage, data access, and application requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

 

· Bachelor’s and 7 years of experience

· Adept at migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/reimplement systems in a cloud architecture.

• CCB, ARB, Army Governance, and cloud processes
• Knowledge of Cloud Management and Migration (cARMY)
• Knowledge of Army Transformation

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Presentation and meeting facilitation experience

· Secret Clearance
