Full Job Description
Pay Range: $150,000.00 - $175,000 a year

By adhering to Connecticut State Law, pay ranges are posted. The pay rate will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge of position and comparison to others who are already in this role within the company.

An Internal Medical Group has an opportunity for a Clinician Liaison. The position is located in West Haven, New Haven, Milford, Guilford and Wallingford and will float between locations as needed.

Summary

This position functions in the capacity as the liaison between the office clinicians and others within the organization for clinical quality improvement, compliance and process improvement.

Essential Functions
• Ongoing development and revision of orientation process for office staff as it relates to clinician workflow
• Ongoing development and revision of orientation process for office clinicians
• Participate, educate and assist the management team in the revised AWV process
• Educate office clinicians on workflow for quality metrics
• Develop and promote educational opportunities for staff and clinicians with the Executive Director
• Assist the management team with evaluation on root cause of clinician clinical compliance with in-basket, tasking, messages, and note completion
• Work in collaboration with office management team on clinician concerns
• Assist Executive Director in employed clinician annual reviews
• Participate in office clinician billing and coding concerns and audits
• Participate in monthly office clinician meeting
• Be prepared to work remotely in an emergency
• Participate in office management meetings as needed

Skills and Knowledge
• Demonstrate knowledge of office and patient workflows
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Strong knowledge of EPIC

Education and Experience
• Master's or doctorate degree
• Certification as a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant
• 5 years or more experience in Primary Care
