How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Provide subject matter expertise in specialized clinical areas-such as oncology, nuclear medicine, and cardiology-to guide clinical leadership and pharmacy teams.
  • Evaluate medication orders to identify and resolve potential drug-related issues, ensuring safe and effective therapy for every patient.
  • Compound and dispense complex medications with precision to ensure accurate and timely treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians and provide clinical education to patients and staff to promote informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
  • Lead pharmacy technicians and mentor pharmacy students, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment that supports operational excellence.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.


Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Successful completion of a PGY1 residency
  • Successful completion of a PGY2 residency in Critical Care
  • Licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in Texas
