The
Clinical Research Manager (Nursing) plays a critical role in supporting innovative research protocols that advance precision imaging and targeted therapies. The Clinical Research Manager collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure research studies are activated, coordinated, and conducted in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
The
Clinical Research Manager (Nursing) serves as a key liaison across operational, clinical, and research stakeholders, supporting strategic research initiatives while maintaining excellence in protocol management and patient care services. The Clinical Research Manager is integral to the success and growth of the theranostics research program, and the Clinical Research Manager helps ensure effective execution of complex clinical research activities.
The
ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Nursing and a strong background in clinical research, nuclear medicine, or both. Preferred qualifications include prior clinical research experience, preferably in oncology research, as well as clinical oncology or nuclear medicine experience. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in regulatory compliance, protocol management, cross-functional collaboration, and research operations.

ResponsibilitiesResearch Program Leadership
• Manage the full lifecycle of the theranostics research program from protocol feasibility through implementation and ongoing coordination
• Support theranostic research protocols during pre-trial activation activities and clinical trial coordination activities
• Participate in the development of strategic plans to manage departmental protocol activity
• Ensure appropriate personnel and resources are in place prior to implementation of new research projects and protocols
Protocol & Regulatory Management
• Assist with feasibility assessments for new research protocols
• Develop and administer policies and procedures to ensure compliance with institutional policies, IRB requirements, and federal regulations
• Maintain excellence in research protocol practices and patient care services
• Support compliance with applicable research oversight and governance requirements
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Serve as a liaison with research committees including Radiation Safety, IRB, and Nuclear Medicine Peer Review
• Collaborate with national organizations including IROC, NCI, and SNMMI to support theranostics program goals and objectives
• Function as a subject matter expert across multidisciplinary teams
• Provide project updates, progress reports, and timeline information to stakeholders as needed
Clinical Research Operations
• Manage and evaluate clinical services delivered by research personnel across multiple research protocols
• Coordinate operational activities necessary for successful protocol execution
• Support research care systems associated with theranostics studies
• Monitor program activities to ensure alignment with research and operational objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION- Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
WORK EXPERIENCE- Required: 5 years Registered nursing experience to included two years of research nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience.
- Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS- Required: RN - Registered Nurse State of Texas Professional Nursing License (RN). Upon Hire and

- Required: CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire
- Preferred: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification as required by patient care area. Upon Hire
- Preferred: PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification as required by patient care area. Upon Hire
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
