Cardiology Clinical Program Specialist (RN)

Renal Denervation & STEMI

Full Time | 80 hours/pay | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

No Holidays | No Weekends | No Call

Christiana Care Hospital is currently looking to hire a Clinical Program Specialist - RN to support our Renal Denervation and STEMI services for the Heart & Vascular Center. Across both programs, the Clinical Program Specialist serves as a key liaison for patients, families, providers, and clinical teams while supporting coordinated care, program growth, quality improvement, and an exceptional patient experience.

For the Renal Denervation Program, the Clinical Program Specialist serves as the primary clinical coordinator for patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for hypertension. The RN manages patients from referral through treatment and follow-up, coordinating multidisciplinary care, patient education, coverage requirements, procedural planning and patient tracking.

For the STEMI Program, the Clinical Program Specialist provides post-discharge AMI navigation and quality support, including three-day follow-up calls to assess recovery, reinforce education, identify concerns, and facilitate timely escalation of care. The role also supports STEMI quality initiatives through data review, performance monitoring and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing institution; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • Minimum of three years of cardiovascular nursing experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required or obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Certification in Nursing Specialty preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred

Annual Compensation Range $87,588.80 - $140,129.60

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
