Job Description

As a Clinical Program Director, you will be responsible for all social work and clinical programming for Menta Tech Academy, a part of The Menta Education Group. You will provide support to school-wide initiatives in special education and drive change by working with staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement. In addition, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.

Only ONE of the following Illinois Licenses Required:

Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate) through ISBE

MSW with LSW through IDFPR

LCSW through IDFPR

LCPC through IDFPR

LPC through IDFPR

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings in-person in the Chicagoland area, as needed
  • Approximately 80% work responsibilities are virtual/remote and 20% work responsibilities are in-person
  • Lead day-to-day operational initiatives within a small special education school program
  • Support school-wide initiatives in special education
  • Drive change by working alongside staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement and support the overall learning environment
  • Assist in Leading the school by building high-performing teams and responsibly managing work and people while enlisting others in the school's vision
  • Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches
  • Build leadership to help students succeed effectively
  • Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
  • Monitor student progress and evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
  • Work remotely while logged-in during the entirety of your shift
  • Ensure all IEPs are entered into the district systems
  • Review all clinical documentation in students IEP's
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of all clinical staff members
  • Ensures all clinical minutes are being met
  • Inputs related services into MSIS for all disciples
  • Run all IEP meetings


Qualifications

  • Only One (1) of following Licenses/Certifications is required: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), IL MSW with LSW, IL LCSW, IL LCPC, IL LPC
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
  • Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
