Full Job Description
Job Summary: Directs staff engaged in providing services in Finance; Purchasing; IT Services; Property; Student Records; Food Service and Facilities Maintenance to ensures departmental programs and standards meet all DOL, FAR, PRH, Center and Horizons Youth Services' requirements.

Duties:
  • Models, mentors, and monitors appropriate Career Success Standards.
  • Evaluates personnel under his/her management and makes recommendations regarding disciplinary actions, promotions, and/or merit increases.
  • Monitors Center and Departmental budgets.
  • Supervises Finance; Student Records; Purchasing; IT Services; Property; Food Service and Facilities Maintenance.
  • Participates in weekly meetings and special related functions. Holds weekly departmental meetings with staff to pass on communications from the senior staff. meeting, other CD directives, and informational memos and/or policy changes.
  • Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
  • Monitors the Center's facility developments and enhancements including national office projects as planned and reports progress and/or concerns to the Center Director.
  • Works as Acting Center Director as needed when Center Director is away from Center

Experience: Three to five years of responsible experience in finance and accounting required. Three to five years of supervisory experience required. Proficient with Excel spreadsheet applications. Ability to analyze financial data and communicate results to management. Knowledge of the federal procurement process preferred. Knowledge of the federal property process preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree, Business Administration is required. Masters' Degree preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid State Drivers' License
