Key Responsibilities - Clinical Operations: Provide clinical pharmacy oversight for inpatient oncology units and the infusion center, performing operational shifts as needed.
- Quality & Governance: Lead and participate in Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives, Medication Use Evaluations (MUE), and Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee reviews.
- Therapeutic Oversight: Coordinate chemotherapy administration, support formulary management, and ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Preceptorship & Mentorship: Act as a preceptor and educate pharmacy students, nursing staff, and medical personnel (optional based on interest).
Schedule & Shift Details - Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour rotating shifts.
- Setting: Inpatient core with cross-training and future opportunities in Outpatient settings.
Candidate Qualifications Must-Haves: - Education: Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active California State Pharmacist License (and valid CA Driver's License).
- Residency: Minimum 1-year accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
- Oncology Experience: At least 2 years of clinical practice in an oncology setting OR completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology.
- Data & QA Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience compiling MUE or QA data for P&T committees.
