Job Description:

The Clinical Nutrition Manager is responsible for Nutritional Services registered dietitians, registered dietitian specialist, infant nutrition techs, and the corresponding provision of clinical nutrition services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge and application of medical nutrition therapy; knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing, and spreadsheet software. [Required]
• Must have the ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others. [Required]
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to patients, staff, physicians, and management staff. [Required]
• Must be knowledgeable with the National Research Council's Recommended Dietary Allowances. [Required]
• Must be knowledgeable regarding national and state standards and regulations affecting RD practice. [Required]
• Must have demonstrated leadership and administrative experience through at least 6 months' experience as a lead/supervisor. [Required]
• Read, write and speak English; handwriting must be legible [Required]
• Ability to apply Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process [Required]
• Mathematical capabilities essential to job duties [Required]
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows [Required]
• EQUIPMENT USED [Preferred]
• Must be able to use a telephone, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and computer [Required]
• Proficiency in CBORD computerized foodservice program [Preferred]
Education:

Field of Study:
• in dietetics, foods and nutrition or related area, such as business administration, health services administration, or public health, granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university.
• Completion of an academic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics

Work Experience:
• 3+ clinical experience [Required]
