----Job Details:PURPOSEThe Clinical Nurse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of outpatient services, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this role manages clinical staff, coordinates patient care, and implements policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision and Management - Supervises and evaluates clinical staff performance.
- Coordinates staff schedules and assignments.
- Provides training and development opportunities for staff.
Patient Care Coordination - Ensures efficient patient flow and timely care.
- Addresses patient concerns and resolves issues.
- Collaborates with healthcare providers to develop care plans.
Compliance and Quality Assurance - Ensures adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.
- Conducts regular audits of clinical documentation.
- Implements quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative Duties - Manages patient records and ensures accurate documentation.
- Oversees billing and coding processes.
- Maintains inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Community Outreach - Participates in community health programs.
- Promotes outpatient services to the public.
- Engages in local and state advocacy efforts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 year(s) of experience in a clinical setting.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 year(s) of experience in outpatient care management.
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
SALARY RANGE$93,500 + depending on qualifications
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/EQUIPMENT- Standard office equipment
