Clinical Nurse - Infant Cardiac ICU- Full Time- Nights

The Infant Cardiac ICU is globally the first and only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit dedicated to the care of newborns and young infants with congenital heart disease (CHD) from birth, to when they go for their surgery, up to their discharge.

Fifty years since creating the APGAR score for newborn evaluation, NYP is among the nation's best for neonatal care, and a Regional Perinatal Network hub. We care for the tiniest, most critically ill patients - relying on our dedicated nurses' expertise.

Our Nurses are trained in NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E, General and cardiac postoperative care and ECMO. We pride ourselves of receiving the Silver Beacon Award for Excellence as well as being recognized as Magnet. As a magnet designated children's hospital, we take pride in our highly skilled clinical nurses who offer the most current and evidence-based family centered care to our tiny patients.

We offer professional growth for our nurses using our clinical ladder program, tuition reimbursement to pursue higher education opportunities and have a robust shared governance unit council.

This is a full-time, night shift position located at New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of RN experience in a Level IV NICU or PCICU or PICU
  • National Certification

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$129,681-$141,006/Annual
