Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

  • Current PA RN license or multistate license from a Nursing Licensure Compact state required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs for staff and clients.
  • Assess learning needs of nursing staff based on clinical practice requirements.
  • Provide in-service training and workshops to enhance clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to align education with surgical and women's health practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs.

Full Job Description
Position: Clinical Nurse Educator - Main Line HealthCare, Surgical and Women's Practices

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; no weekends or holidays.

Experience:
1. Three to five years of recent nursing experience in area of expertise.
2. Prior Clinical Nurse Educator or related experience is preferred.

Education:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. At least one degree must be in nursing, such as a BSN or MSN.
3. Master's degree strongly preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license or a multistate license verified in one of the approved Nursing Licensure Compact states.
2. Specialty certification preferred.
3. Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
