Clinical Manager | Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics & Nursery

Location: La Crosse, WI

FTE: Full-time, salaried position; 1.0 FTE

Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexibility to support off-shift teams through occasional early morning or evening presence.

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the region's premier Women's Health programs. As Clinical Manager, you'll provide operational, clinical, and people leadership for Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics & Nursery, and New Life Perinatal Services. Partnering with physician and nursing leaders, you'll help strengthen culture, elevate quality outcomes, and shape the future of Women's Health services.

As the region's only high-risk perinatal program, our Women's Health team supports more than 1,800 births annually and is recognized for exceptional quality outcomes, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience.

What You'll Do
  • Lead clinical, operational, and people-related activities across Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics & Nursery, and New Life Perinatal Services
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary leaders to achieve service line and organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


About the Department
  • Labor & Delivery includes 7 labor suites, 4 triage rooms, and 2 operating rooms.
  • Obstetrics includes a 16-bed postpartum unit.
  • New Life Perinatal Services provides education and support for patients and families.


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business, or a health-related field.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
  • 5-7 years of clinical or equivalent healthcare experience demonstrating leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous healthcare management experience is strongly preferred.
  • OB/GYN, Women's Health, Mother-Baby, or Labor & Delivery experience.
