Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist to join our team in
South San Francisco CA.
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pmJob Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform appropriate QA/QC procedures
- Operate and maintain equipment and instruments according to manufacturer and Monogram established procedures including: analysis of clinical specimens, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
- May be appointed to oversee specialized processes or appointed to a unique coordinating role, such as safety or QC
- Actively participate in continuing education and in service training programs for licensure
- Reagent and viral stock preparation and qualification
- May assist in development of new assays and technology transfer from research and development
- Review and release results in the Laboratory Information System
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- California state issued Clinical Lab Science license (CLS) - Generalist
Preferred Qualification- Current or prior Labcorp experience

- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test
**Pay Range: $52.00 - $67.00 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
