A growing, mission-driven behavioral health organization is seeking a Clinical Director to lead two outpatient clinics serving adults with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) in the San Francisco Peninsula. Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership across two outpatient behavioral health clinics
- Supervise therapists and associate clinicians
- Oversee admissions, intakes, and treatment planning
- Lead daily care coordination meetings and support clinical decision-making
- Coach and develop clinical staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient engagement
- Partner closely with operations leadership to improve workflows and clinic performance
- Provide direct patient care as needed
Qualifications- Active California clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or equivalent)
- Leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health
- Experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness (SMI) preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team leadership skills
- Ability to work onsite and travel between the two clinics
Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday.
Setting: Integrated Outpatient
