Location: North County San Diego (Fallbrook, CA)
A growing behavioral health organization is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee their adolescent residential program. This role provides clinical leadership across several established programs and partners closely with operations to support strong outcomes, consistency in care, and a healthy team environment.
This is a hands-on leadership position focused on clinical quality, supervision, and program integrity. The role carries a small caseload and requires regular involvement with staff, clients, and clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical oversight across the entire residential program
- Supervise therapists, associate-level clinicians, interns, and case management staff
- Conduct individual and group clinical supervision, peer reviews, and case consultations
- Review and approve admissions, ensuring appropriate level of care and clinical fit
- Support treatment planning, documentation quality, and overall clinical standards
- Provide guidance during clinical situations, including crisis support and safety planning
- Participate in treatment team meetings and ongoing staff development
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to strengthen team performance and client outcomes
- Collaborate with admissions, outreach, and other departments as needed
Qualifications:- Active, unrestricted clinical license
- Experience in residential or higher level of care settings required
- Strong background supervising clinicians and supporting associate-level staff
- Solid clinical judgment and ability to make independent decisions
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation standards
Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000
Schedule: Full-time, weekday hours with on-call responsibilities
