Full Job Description
Provides clinical training and support to customers, as a subject matter expert in radiation therapy, on-site and/or remotely to ensure customer is prepared to operate their equipment according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines and to fully utilize the complex functionality of the technology to meet their business needs. Job Description: • Conduct product training both onsite and remotely in English for customers and employees, in particular training for complex situations involving multiple products. French speaking is an asset. • Provide timely feedback on competitive product performance, contributing valuable insights to headquarters, marketing, and engineering teams. • Provide demo support at local, regional, and national customer trade events, showcasing Varian Medical Systems' capabilities • Lead classroom lectures and laboratory sessions in English and French to ensure customers are trained to operate company equipment according to safety guidelines with the highest level of satisfaction. • Prepare lesson plans based on engineering documentation, field service requirements, and software documentation to address customers’ specific implementation questions. • Formulate complementary support training information in the form of quick tips, workbooks, video-media and implementation guides • Collaborate with customers as well as the sales, product marketing, and technical support departments to ensure course material reflects current product features, and address customer inquiries including testing scenarios using company products. • Work with cross-functional teams as necessary to support and enable best services and optimize customer relations Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge: • Clinical understanding of the processes in a radiation oncology department. • Passion for continuous learning and professional development. • Flexibility to adapt training approaches based on the diverse needs of the audience. • Excellent interpersonal skills. Exemplary communication skills (listening, verbal, written). • Adaptable, positive, and open to new ideas and/or situations. • Enthusiastic learner who is eager to meet challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts. • Successful applicant must also live in Canada with travel requirements up to 75%, and occasional weekend travel • Typical Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiation Sciences, or equivalent, and minimum of 5 years clinical experience, 3 of which are in dosimetry. The expected compensation for this position is: $82,000 - $117,000 Factors which may affect starting compensation within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
