Job Description

Our vision is for our people, data and technology to become a necessary part of every major consumer economy in the world. Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is the industry leader in providing online credit education and identity protection tools to consumers. Our mission is to develop products that help keep people financially healthy. As Client Technical Analyst, you will support our main API/Member platform and subsequent services and systems. You'll provide excellent customer service and help resolve customer application issues as Tier I support. You'll report to our Director, Production Support.

You will:
  • Research, and diagnose complex software issues raised by clients/members
  • Develop and implement SQL queries to aid in the investigation and analysis of issues
  • Examine error logs and database content to determine the cause of a problem
  • Document and implement workaround solutions wherever possible.
  • Document steps to reproduce for resolution with internal and external resources
  • Document processes procedures, and technical instructions for future reference and use by support teams
  • Create/manage production/staging support tickets


Qualifications
  • 3+ years of development or technical support experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting sites using API and SDK integration
  • Knowledge of Linux, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, MySQL, and Shell scripting
  • Knowledge of Splunk, Data Dog, MuleSoft and Salesforce
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and implementing Web technologies
  • Knowledge of programming and software development concepts
  • Experience implementing automation or self service technologies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking capabilities, consistency and resolution of customers' needs
