Job Description

 I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

This is an individual contributor position accountable for driving growth on a focused list of healthcare accounts. A primary focus of the position is to advance our relationships with media/strategy agencies, client media teams, client brand teams, PR firms and healthcare creative agencies in both consumer and HCP areas.   General account types include Pharma, CPG, OTC and other healthcare accounts. 

II. Essential Job Functions

Weight % - Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

- 80% - Manage and develop revenue generation via:

  • Relationship development at all decision levels.

  • High volume market activity across assigned key healthcare accounts.

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals

  • Build, and maintain relationships with account managers, networks, and agencies.

  • Create optimization strategies for priority partnerships.

  • Identify and assess new potential partners for continued growth.

  • Work closely with management in the planning and execution of sales initiatives.

  • Oversee planning, implementation, and launch of client campaigns.

  • Ensure seamless account management by coordinating with internal teams, proactively resolving client issues, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Maintain open communication with the senior executive at various stages in the sales cycle including performance updates, proposal/ projects & forecasting.

  • Forecast, track and report revenue contribution and performance with our internal tools

  • Participation in internal business development identification, evaluation and brainstorm sessions.

  • Work closely with digital and print sales teams, marketing, and client services to coordinate deal strategy, ensure seamless campaign execution, and meet or exceed client expectations.

  • All other duties as assigned.  


Hybrid 3x a week- (New York, NY)
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with an emphasis in Business/Marketing or Communications; or equivalent work experience. 

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of account management and/or consultative selling expertise

  • Experience working across multiple levels of management at agencies and/or clients.  

  • Must possess creative, compelling, and persuasive telephone, email and presentation skills. 

  • A general understanding of the healthcare category and the issues surrounding healthcare

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Tangible expertise in dimensional negotiating.

  • A clear understanding of the differences between proactive and reactive selling.

  • A preference for conceptual selling and the ability to apply creative problem-solving skills throughout a sales cycle. 

  • The ability to demonstrate solid networking skills and the highest level of professionalism.  

  • Strong critical thinking and transactional negotiation skills.

  • Strategic planning and action item management.

% Travel Required (Approximate): 20%

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
