Job Description

As a Client Manager - Survey Specialist within the Consumer Panel business, you will develop thoughtful research and deliver impactful insights for clients that explains the "why" behind the buy. This includes generating proposals and upselling, designing intelligent questionnaires, and delivering actionable results. The ideal candidate will excel at both sales and primary research design and analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to drive business results through consultative selling and pursues new survey business from existing and potential clients.
  • Leads the development of captivating proposals, including upselling options that address stated and unstated client needs.
  • Manages multiple clients and their respective survey projects concurrently and on deadline with outstanding communication and escalating delays to leader in timely manner.
  • Writes questionnaires that follow standard survey research design requirements and develops analytic plans that address client's research objectives/business issue.
  • Uses 'storytelling' techniques to develop full analytical reports, drawing strategic conclusions and building actionable recommendations to support client business objectives; presents findings to clients as needed.
  • Collaborates with senior team leaders on strategic business initiatives for surveys (new products/solutions, sales strategy, client advancement, etc.).
  • Identifies areas of inefficiency and proposes/develops solutions.
  • Mentors junior staff on various quantitative research projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • .4-5 years' experience in survey research, preferably in FMCG
    • Previous experience working in the areas of consumer panel and/or consumer research preferred.
    • Strong understanding of quantitative survey research principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, resolving complex issues, and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a client-service environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive accountability, and deliver client outcomes with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations through presentations and written deliverables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with NIQ tools, applications and platforms a plus.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $83,700 - $90,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
